El Serral
Very close to Muntanyans is the El Serral estate, where traditional varieties such as Penedès, Macabeo, Xarel.lo, and Parellada are grown in calcareous, clayey soil, along with an Alsatian variety of white grape called Gewürztraminer. This variety, first planted experimentally, has shown over time a perfect harmony with the climate and soil of the Penedès.
This estate completes its exclusive dedication to the varieties of white grape with the Muscat, which is the basic grape variety of a white wine called Mireia.
