The winery
Mas Blanc combines the use of modern technology with ancestral traditions all based on one idea and with one objective in mind: to improve quality.
Conveyor belts and adjustable de-stemming machines improve the control of the grape harvest in the winery. A variable pressure wine press enables the must to be pressed in a similar way to the old wooden presses and the small fermentation vats mean the grapes can be fermented separately by variety and at a slower pace, controlling temperatures. These are some of the methods used for making quality wines.
The analytical checks as well as quality controls are of the best in the field and an ageing room built under the vineyard, with rows of more than 300 French oak barrels, make up a modern winery which is among the few European wineries which are blended into their environment.
