Bubbly Wines - Frizzante

In 1942, Josep Mª Tetas, driven by his passion for creating fresh and easy-to-drink wines, produced Spain’s first bubbly wine. Inspired by his travels to different countries and looking for a wine that would capture the fruitiness of the grape, with a low alcohol content and a light effervescence, he developed a unique beverage. These wines, with less carbonation than sparkling wines, are designed to be enjoyed every day, ideal for any moment and occasion.

In his pursuit of perfection, Josep Mª focused on native varieties such as Xarel·lo, Macabeo, Parellada, Tempranillo, and Garnacha, creating wines with an authentic character. The carbonation is natural, coming from the fermentation process and the residual sugars from the grapes. This natural fermentation process is key to giving our Bubbly Wines their fine bubbles, highlighting their freshness and fruity fragrance.

The result was an immediate success: flavorful, aromatic, and elegant wines, perfect for sharing and enjoying in good company. Among the first bubbly wines produced by the winery were the Reynal family, followed by La Nansa, and more recently, Moscato Mediterráneo, a 5.5% alcohol wine, ideal for an aperitif.
