Moscatell

Essence of the wine

Moscatell takes its name from the Muscat grape variety, renowned for its intense aromatic profile and natural sweetness, making it ideal for crafting dessert wines.

Variety

Muscat 100%

Terroir

The vineyards are located in a Mediterranean environment with limestone and sandy soils, influenced by the sea breeze. This climate promotes the optimal ripening of the grapes, enhancing their floral and citrus aromas, along with a well-balanced freshness.

Winemaking Process

This mistela is made from Muscat grapes, a variety celebrated for its intense fragrance and natural sweetness. Unlike other wines, this mistela does not undergo fermentation; instead, vinous alcohol is added to preserve its fruity character and inherently fresh sweetness. Once the grape must is prepared and filtered, vinous alcohol is added for stabilization, preserving all the natural sugars from the grapes. This traditional process gives the mistela a smooth, enveloping texture and unique balance, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a dessert wine with aromatic complexity and elegant sweetness.

Appearance

It presents a deep yellow color with golden hues, a silky texture, and a brilliant appearance.

Aroma

Its intense aroma perfectly evokes Muscat grapes, with notes of white flowers, fresh fruits like peach and apricot, citrus hints, and a touch of honey that captivates the senses.

Taste

On the palate, this wine is full-bodied and unctuous, with a silky texture that is not heavy. The natural sweetness of the Muscat grape manifests delicately, leaving a smooth, rounded sensation that fills the palate. The fruity flavors become more pronounced, with hints of orange blossom and ripe fruits like orange and apricot, harmoniously intertwined with a slight acidity that imparts freshness. The balance between fruitiness, smoothness, and elegance creates a perfectly harmonious ensemble, leaving a lingering, enveloping sensation in the finish.
