D.O. Penedès
Gaudiana White
Essence of the wine
The name "Gaudiana" is dedicated to the architect Antoni Gaudí, drawing inspiration from his creativity and artistic legacy. The label references the first "trencadís," a mosaic technique characteristic of Gaudí that reflects his genius and connection with nature. This detail symbolizes the harmony and innovation that Gaudí left as his legacy—values we aim to represent in our wines.
Variety
Macabeu 40%, Xarel·lo 40%, Parellada 10%, Muscat 10%
Terroir
The terroir of Penedès is renowned for its diverse soils and microclimates, ranging from limestone to clay-rich terrain. This diversity allows each grape variety to express its unique character. The influence of the Mediterranean Sea and the nearby mountains creates a perfect balance between freshness and ripeness, resulting in wines of great complexity and personality.
Winemaking Process
The grapes are harvested at their optimal ripeness and vinified separately. A gentle pressing is performed to obtain the free-run juice, which is then fermented at a controlled temperature to preserve its fruity and floral aromas. After fermentation, the selected varieties are blended and left to rest in stainless steel tanks for several weeks to promote stabilization. Finally, the wine is bottled.
Appearance
Pale green in color, bright and highly appealing.

On the nose, it offers remarkable aromatic complexity, with citrus notes of green apple, floral hints of acacia and daisies, and white fruit aromas such as pear and peach. Subtle mineral and saline nuances add depth and freshness to the overall profile.
