Diorama Rioja

Essence of the wine

This wine line represents a wine from each of the wineries where we produce in Spain. As seen on the labels, the circle symbolizes the three key elements that make each wine unique according to its region: SUN, WATER, and SOIL. The different terroirs in these regions ensure that each wine has its own special characteristics that make it unique. The circle on each label changes in colors and textures, depending on the hours of sunlight, the amount of water, and the type of soil that influence the vineyards in each area.

Tempranillo 100%

Terroir

This wine is made from grapes grown in the northernmost area of La Rioja. It stands out for its intense sunlight exposure, low rainfall, and varied soil composition, where the vines benefit from significant temperature fluctuations between day and night. This unique combination results in wines with great complexity, elegance, and a true expression of the terroir.

Winemaking Process

We ferment and macerate the grapes at a controlled temperature for thirty days, carrying out daily and prolonged pump-overs. The wine has aged for 12 months in American oak barrels and 24 months in the bottle. After an essential and proper resting period, it was bottled to complete its maturation.

Appearance

A clean and bright wine, with a medium-high color intensity. It has a ruby red hue with slight brick reflections.

Aroma

On the nose, it presents aromas of black and red fruit, with intense mineral and spicy notes, such as cinnamon, licorice, and raisins. It also offers enveloping and honeyed hints of caramel and cocoa, finishing with a subtle balsamic sensation.

Taste

A light and elegant wine, with a velvety texture and a balanced, silky structure. In the retronasal perception, notes of toasted toffee and mocha emerge.

Food pairing and serving

Perfect for roast meats, such as lamb or goat, as well as grilled red meats. Its spicy notes and toasted toffee hints will beautifully complement intensely flavored dishes with slightly smoky nuances. It is also an excellent choice for game stews, such as wild boar, which enhance the wine's complexity. Additionally, it pairs wonderfully with aged cheeses and cured meats, like Iberian ham or longaniza. An elegant and well-balanced wine, ideal for accompanying juicy dishes with enveloping flavors.
