Anfiteatro

Essence of the wine

Amphitheater takes its name from the winery’s unique structure, which has the shape of an amphitheater. Located in the center of the estate, the winery is surrounded by vineyards, resembling the seating of a natural theater. This layout symbolizes the harmony between the winery and the landscape, creating an ideal space for producing wines that reflect the essence of the land.

Variety

Grenache 50%, Cabernet Sauvignon 50%

Terroir

The terroir of our Priorat estate is unique, characterized by its poor, rocky soil with a high presence of slate (licorella), which gives the wines exceptional minerality. This environment, combined with the warm and dry climate, results in intense, structured wines with depth that reflects the identity of the region.

Winemaking Process

The harvest is carried out separately for each variety and manually, after strict ripeness control. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks for 18 days, followed by blending, and then aging in barrels for 5 months before refining in the bottle. The stainless steel tanks have been cleaned following kosher regulations. Each tank is sealed, signed, and stamped with the Kosher certification twice. All handling in the winery and the winemaking process—including pressing, fermentation, filtration, cooling, clarification, and bottling—has been conducted by a rabbi. All products used are kosher for Passover.
